Work Environment

• Start your day at our office in Miamitown, Ohio every day
• Average 40hrs a week plus overtime
• Work in and around heavy equipment which will expose you to weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow), dirt and dust, noise, grease and oil
• Receive safety certifications for job related tasks
• Room to grow

Construction Laborer Duties

• Job duties vary from job to job giving diversity to tasks
• Operate small equipment such as skid steers and forklifts with certified training provided
• Assist operators and foreman on site
• Load and unload materials
• Learn how to work smarter with proper tools
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs on jobsites

Basic Requirements

• Clean Driving record
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to random testing
• Be on time and have reliable transportation
• 18 years of age
• Class A CDL with air brake endorsement or the willingness to attend a formal truck driving school upon hire
• Willingness to work overtime and out of town (home on weekends)
• Pass an E-verify check (you must have a valid work visa or be a US citizen)

Full Time position. 32 hours a week, Monday – Thursday. No working from home.

Small construction – related business near Miamitown, Ohio.

Job Description;

Withholding tax submittals (941, SUTA, FUTA, State, etc.)

Other tax submittals (CAT, use tax)

Prepare 1099s and W2s

Balancing accounts, General Ledger entries, bank reconciliations, Job Costing

Prepare a monthly Balance Sheet and P & L

Depreciation for fixed assets

All HR duties including health insurance, 401k, HSA, new employee forms and tests, workers’ comp, etc.

Accounts Payable – enter invoices, get approval, pay

Assist with Payroll

Qualifications:

Must possess at least an Associates Degree in Accounting (or equivalent in degree or experience)

Prior experience in a construction – related business is a huge plus

Skilled in Word, Outlook and Excel (able to make formulas in Excel)

Experience in many of the above job functions

Excellent English written and verbal grammar skills

Experience in ComputerEase a plus
